38th Annual Sports Day was conducted in our school on 17th February 2024. Mr. M. Murugan, DEO Private schools, KK Dist, Mrs. Bebajan, project Director/Joint Director, Tamilnadu Rural Management Unit KK Dist were the chief guests.
Mr.P. Asadullah Mujahid, Athletics Champion, Gold Medal Winner under 23 National Level representing India in Youth Asia held at Hong Kong was the guest of Honour Respectively. The programme started with the Qirat. Then Welcome Address was given by the Principal Mrs. Jazeema. Next the school flag was hoisted.
It is followed by the March Past, and Lighting the Olympic Torch. The players of our school took the oath. Then presidential address was delivered by Mr. S.Sugarno, President of MDB Trust and Correspondent of Malick Dhinar Matric HSS. Then the chief guests and The Guest of Honour delivered their inspirational and motivational speech to the gatherings.
Next the declaration of sports meet was given by the Chief Guest Mrs.Bebajan. Next various events such as Mass Drill, Pyramid, Bamboo Stick Drill, Hoops Drill, Dumbbell Drill and Saree Drill were given by the students of MDM School.
Next various Athletics events were conducted and the prizes were given to the winners. Next Vote of Thanks was deliverd by Mrs. Suhaina, The staff of MDM School. The programme ended with the National Anthem

Malick Dhinar Matriculation School organised the Inter School Competitions on 21st November 2023, Tuesday. English Elocution, Tamil Elocution and Quiz competitions were conducted in two categories.
The competitions started at 10.00 am. Tamil Elocution Competitions were conducted first. The topic of the competition for Category a is “மனித வாழ்வும் மனித நேயமும்” and the topic for the category 2 is "வேற்றுமையில் ஒற்றுமையே இந்திய அரசியலமைப்பின் அடித்தளம்”.
The judges of the competitions were Dr.Mohamed Askar of Muslim Arts College, Dr.RamaKumar of Vivekananda College and Mr.Balwin of PonJessly Educational College. Next English Elocution competitions were were conducted on two categories. The Topics given were “Human Life and Humanity” and “Unity is Diversity is the foundation of India”. The Judges were Dr.Kaviarasu, Department of English, Vivekananda College, Mr.Balwin of Pon Jessly Educational College and It is followed by the quiz competitions on two categories and the Judges were J.Josephin Thayabari of St.Joseph Calazans CBSE School and Jaquelin of Abi Academy.
The Prize Distribution ceremony started at 02.30pm. The programme started with the Qira’ath. Then Maryam Rawwana, Staff of MDM School delivered the welcome speech. Next the Correspondent of MDM School Janab S.Sugarno delivered the presidential address. Dr.M.Abdul Samad was the chief guest of the function. He delivered the Chief guest address. Next The principal Mrs. Jazeema A delivered the principal’s address. Then the prizes were distributed to the winners of the competitions. Our school children got the prizes in the following categories.
Category I : Tamil Elocution : Jafrin Fathima S (VIII) - III Prize
Category I : English Elocution : Aniqa Sayed S N(IX) - III Prize
Category II : Tamil Elocution : Safa (XI) - I Prize

Then Ms.Nafeela Maryam, Staff of MDM School delivered the Vote of Thanks. The programme ended with National Anthem.

Children’s Day is celebrated in our school on 14th November 2023, Tuesday. Various competitions such as clay ,modelling, Greeting Card making, Calligraphy, Vegetable Carving and Art from waste materials were conducted. Most of the children eagerly participated in the competitions. Fun games were conducted by the teachers inside the classroom. The children enjoyed the games as well as watching the things displayed by the competitors.

Malick Dhinar Baithulmal Trust and Nalam Social Welfare Trust together conducted a medical camp on 17-10-2023 regarding Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam’s Birthday. The camp started at 08.00am and ended at 1 pm. Nearly 60 people from the surrounding utilised the camp. On that day English and Tamil Elocution competitions were conducted for school students of Malick Dhinar Matriculation Hr.Sec.School and Evans Matric school participated in the competitions. The first three places were occupied by Malick Dhinar Matriculation School Students. Books and needed study materials were distributed to the students on that day.

On account of Dr. A.P.J.Abdul Kalam’s Birthday, The Muslim Arts College conducted various competitions. Nearly 20 schools participated in the competitions. Our students also participated in Tamil & English Elocution, Tamil & English Essay Writing, Painting, Quiz and Fancy Dress Competitions. Our student Safa of Grade XI got the first prize in Tamil Elocution, Mohamed Arshiya of Grade XI got the first prize in English Essay Writing competition. Our School got the third prize in the Quiz Competition. All the participants got the participant’s certificate also.

The Teacher’s Day was celebrated in our school on 5th September 2023. The Students of Std XI Organised the programme. In the morning various competitions such as elocution, Drawing, singing and Poetry Versification were conducted both in Tamil and English. The teachers eagerly participated the competitions. Prizes were given to the winners of the competitions. In the afternoon fun games were conducted. All the teachers played the games happily. The prizes were distributed to the winners. The teachers received the gifts and wished from the school Management. Group Photo was taken in the evening. The teachers as well as the students enjoyed well on that day.

“The Midnight of August 15, 1947 is memorable for every Indian, as it is the time, when India gained Independence from the British”.
MDM School celebrated the 76th Independence day on 15th August, 2023 at our school premises. All the students, Management Committee, Staff members and parents were present at the school premises.
The event was started by a prayer followed by the prayer, Tamil Thai Vaazhthu was sung by the school choir, Flag Hoisting took place at the school. The Flag was hoisted by our honourable Correspondent Janab S.Sugarno. The flag song was sung by the school choir. All the people gathered in the school premises took the pledge.
Then Aniqa Sayed of Grade IX delivered the welcome speech. The correspondent gave the presidential address. It was then time to sit back and enjoy the programs by the students. Each house had their own program involving themselves in speech and songs. S.Jafrin Fathima of class VIII (Green House) gave the Tamil Speech. Then Tamil patriotic song was sung by the Yellow House students. Followed by the Tamil song English speech was given by Haajira Mufliha M of Grade XI. Then the red house students gave the English Patriotic Song. Next Shalini N of Grade XI delivered the speech regarding Independence Day. Prizes for Elocution Competitions and colouring competitions were given to the winners of the competitions. Vote of Thanks was given by Ajay Siva of Grade VIII. The program was hosted by Fahima Mershiha of Grade IX and Linciya of Grade XI, MDM School. The program came to an end with the National Anthem.
Special prizes were given to our school sports champion Brijith Aldo B, by the management for his achievements in the following categories
1.Bronze Medal in the state held at Central University of Tamilnadu, Thituvarur District.
2.Silver Medal in National match held at Bangalore University (KYORUGI)
3.Silver medal in National match held at Bangalore University (POOMSAE)

The Hifzh meeting was conducted on 28-07-2023 in our MDB Masjid. The programme started with Qira’at by our student Mubeen from VIII -A and the welcome speech by our Arabic Staff Mr.Kothari Firdousi and then presidential address was given by ou correspondent Janab.S.Sugarno Sir. He also addressed about Hifzh classes which were started in this academic year, then our school former co-ordinator Janab.Mahaboob Jailani sir gave felicitation regarding the Hifzh class with a meaningful speech. He also spoke about the importance of the Quran memorization and the person who is a Haafil get what type of honours and recognition in both the worlds.
Next Our Principal Mrs.Jazeema addressed the gathered. She also instructed about the Hifzh class rules and the way how the classes are conducted for our students. A kind co-operation and support is expected from the parents side also. The way how the students be in the Hifzh class were also instructed to the parents and students.
Then our Arabic Staff Janab.S.Misbah-ul-Hudha spoke all the rules and regulations that should be followed by the Hifzh students in the Hifzh class, then in each day how many ayahs will be completed and in a month and year how many surahs can be completed will be checked and monitored daily by the Arabic staff for all the students.
Parents queries session were there to ask the suggestions from the parent side. Many doubts were clarified in this session. They requested for a salah chart for the students so that to check whether they are performing their 5 times prayer properly. This should be checked and monitored by all the staff in Arabic Department.
The Arabic Department is maintaining the daily diary portion for the students. It is given by the Arabic staff to the students and it is checked and signed by the parents. The Arabic staff instructed that this should be followed correctly by the students and parents.

On the occasion of Kamaraj’s Birthday the school conducted Elocution Competitions for students of Class I to XI. The Participants were divided into two groups for Tamil and English competitions. The students took active participation in the event and were happy in getting a chance to participate in the event.

An Anti - Drug Awareness program was conducted in our school on 2nd July 2023. The correspondent of MDM school Janab. SUGARNO S, participated the meeting and gave the presidential address. The MDM Trust members, 80 students and 5 faculty members also participated in the awareness program. The program started with a Kirath. Then the Vice - Principal Mr.THUSLIM ARIF M delivered the welcome address. Our correspondent stated that youth are the largest force of our nation and they must be directed in a positive way for their happy, healthy and holy living. He expressed that youth can save themselves by conducting large number of events campaigning the anti - drug messages to make a significant impact in the society. He said that the government is taking all necessary measures about bringing awareness to the public on anti - alcohol and drug prevention messages is the past two years rigorously. Mr.Chandre Sekaran D.S.P, Nagercoil was the chief guest for creating an awareness on the ill - effects of drug and alcohol consumption as well as social evils in a comprehensive manner. He added that a report by the central government demonstrated that the vast majority of youth are receiving drug and alcohol prevention messages from sources such as TV, Radio, Posters, Pamplets, Movie Acts and Campaigns like this. The Vic - Principal Mrs.NEELAVENI B, delivered the vote of thanks. The program came to an end with the National Anthem.

A Parent Teacher Meeting for the classes from LKG to XI was conducted on 24th June 2023 at MDB Community Hall. The meeting started with a Kirath by ABDULLAH Y, Staff of MDM School followed by Tamil Thaai Vaazhthu. Then the welcome address was delivered by Ms. NAFEELA MARYAM A, Staff of MDM School. The correspondent of MDM school Janab. SUGARNO S delivered the presidential Address. Mrs. JAZEEMA A, The Principal of MDM school gave the principal Address. She discussed the performance of students with their parents. Parents were given feedback and suggestions regarding their ward’s performances. They discussed about the strengths as well as the areas of improvement. Any sign of a child failing to make progress regardless of where there are in the lower, middle or higher range is questioned and addressed. Then teachers gave assurance to the parents that they should take care of each child. Next parents those who were participated in the meeting gave assurance to the school. Then the co ordinator Mr. MAHUBOOB JAILANI sir gave a speech regarding the steps taken by the school for the improvement of children. Then vote of thanks was delivered by Mrs.FATHIMA SHAREEFA K, staff of MDM School. The PTM came to an end with the conclusion that joint effort, mutual understanding and co-operation of parents and teachers is very important for the proper nourishment and progress of students. The meeting came to an end with the National Anthem.
